Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999 require employers to identify hazards and levels of risk to their employees’ health and safety when they’re at work. What should you do to start the process?

We can assist your business with implementing compliant, thorough risk assessment procedures. Many major industries have benefited from our expertise in risk assessment rules and regulations. These range from education to construction and everything inbetween.

By doing so, we can offer you health and safety support that is tailored to your business needs.

What is a health and safety Risk Assessment?

The purpose of a risk assessment is to identify, evaluate, and control or eliminate hazards that will occur during normal daily tasks and activities.

Additionally, control measures must be in place to ensure the safety of your employees and visitors to your facility. To prevent harm to people, you must evaluate what could cause harm and take reasonable steps to prevent it.

You must maintain a written record of all your risk assessments if you employ five or more people.

What if you don’t? You could be fined or even prosecuted.
